Idleback Target Centre’s facilities include 6 Indoor 33 yard and 6 Indoor 35 yard Air Rifle Benchrest lanes, as well as 4 Indoor 10mtr Pistol and Target Rifle lanes
Idleback Target Centre, a family run Indoor Shooting Range and Gun Shop, based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. Our facilities are completely unique within the UK, Full Central Heating, Open 7 Days, Gun Hire, Air Fills, Competitions and Targets, Tuition, Range Safety Marshal’s, Café with Viewing Area to the range, Wheelchair Access, Toilets and Free Parking.
Taster Sessions
Air Rifle Taster Sessions are great fun and a great Introduction to Target Sports for ages 9 plus.
On your taster session everything is supplied so all you need to do is turn up 10 minutes before your booking time and sign in. We have a selection of Target Rifles at the club and will pick one to suit your ability. All the rifles are extremely accurate, so there will be no excuses!

What are your opening times please as I am looking for a new hobby and looking for Monday Wednesday and Friday after 5 pm?

Hi Carl, thank you for your interest, our opening times are as follows:
RANGE OPENING TIMES:
Monday 10 am – 2 pm
Tuesday 10 am – 9 pm
Wednesday 10 am – 9 pm
Thursday 10 am – 8 pm
Friday 10 am – 4 pm
Saturday 10 am – 4 pm
Sunday 10 am – 2 pm
However, if you would like to give us a call, we will have a chat about what time might be best for yourself.

Hi, I have previously been a member but this has lapsed as I wasn’t able to get to the range as often as I’d have liked.
Do I need to become a member again to use the range or can I attend as a visitor.. What are the current costs to use the range as a member and a non memeber..

HI Mick, thank you for getting in touch. You do not need to rejoin as a member o come and shoot, we do allow non-members also. The cost of shooting as a non-member is £12 per hour and the cost of shooting as a member is £7 per hour.
